At sister’s place. Carpooled her to the grocery store to get some food then back to her classes. Then spent a good amount of time just gathering empty bottles and trash and taking it out to the dumpster. Not even all the trash. And putting dirty laundry in one pile.

The drive for the most part was very pleasant. I always get stuck behind a extra-wide load truck of some sort around Halletsville (Last time it was a mobile home; this time a piece of construction equipment).

What do Americans say?

cool but why is the last one so ominous

The prompt for the last one is “How many syllables are in caramel?” Ur welcome

Thanks zach.

Garage sales, yard sales, and rummage sales are literally different things? Garage sales are within a structure (garage??? shed???). Yard sales are… in ur yard/ driveway. Rummage sales are where multiple people/families act as vendors at a mutual location, usually a parking lot – alternately called a trunk sale.

Or am I just the most localized person ever?

I love these graphics and studies because of my personal history as a military brat, so despite the heavy Texan accent, my vocabulary choices are still all over the place (not to mention my dad with his heavy Pittsburghese despite only living there a few years)

INDEPENDENCE

You don’t set out to be different for its own sake; you are more easily guided by what interests and moves you. You are more concerned about what is right for you than about the pressure to fit in. In sex you are more aware than others of impulses which are not entirely conventional. You know the value of selective irresponsibility, of forgetting occasionally about being ‘good’.

– Well the first part is pretty accurate. I want my interests and comforts and entertainment, and i want to be left alone to enjoy them. I can be very selfish and self-centered, and while I do love to help people out, I hate to do it formally- I will volunteer for a charity group event but run away screaming if asked to join as a member.

SHYNESS

Part of you is gripped by the fear that you’ll launch into something and completely mess it up. The upside of this is wise caution: people are indeed often too rash, whereas you know, by instinct, that holding back can save you. Probably, you feel shame and self-disgust a bit too much. But when you do feel in your element, you act with a wisdom and sensitivity never found in people with thicker skins.

– Hit the nail on the head with that hammer and didn’t need a quiz for that.

ORDERLINESS

You love it when everything is neat and tidy: when there is a proper way of doing things, and you can tick things off the to-do list and know where everything is. So others, at times, are to you unbearably sloppy and messy. And you run into things that can’t be ordered (a child, a partner, a colleague at work) which drives you slightly nuts. But your desire for order is a good one when it is focused where it is needed and when you’re okay with a bit of mess.

– lol no. Okay, there’s a little bit in that I like to have a one proper way to do things right so I can have confidence that I will be successful – but that’s that fear downside of a perfectionist. Yes to have a routine, a plan to start with- but then when I start on whatever the task is, I throw that out. And tidy? HAHA no. Slob. Cluttered. Organized method to the clutter. Authoritarian streak, a dislike of metaphysical chaos, yes (which pairs oh so nicely with that first trait : ).

Self-Knowledge Questionnaire

Going up to stay with sister for the weekend – I will have internet but the drive is four hours. Probably leaving on Thursday. I will have freetime especially when she’s in class, but for right now slowly planning what to pack and have time to write. Requests for headcanons and fics, any prompts, are open.

Wonder Woman // Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Is this what people do when there are no wars to fight? Yeah. Yeah, this and other things. What things? They have breakfast. They love to wake up, read the paper, go to work, and get married. Make some babies, grow old together, I guess.

#omg im gonna cry #this furthers clark and lois in dceu though #in ww; diana being told by steve what no more war is like for two people in love mirrors what clark and lois have #in bvs; bruce seeing lois with clark helped humanize clark for him #so…clark and lois are representative of men being good and at peace #i feel like i articulated that poorly… #but i hope this parallel means that clark and lois will continue to be a priority in dceu (via @amouria)
