Tomorrow and this weekend will be in the ballet- but I have some downtime right now, so am trying to finish up this chapter. Trying to keep it from growing even longer, but the Great Hunt chapter looks to be twice the length of the other chapters. …consider it an apology for the long wait.

STOP. GROWING.

Tomorrow and this weekend will be in the ballet- but I have some downtime right now, so am trying to finish up this chapter. Trying to keep it from growing even longer, but the Great Hunt chapter looks to be twice the length of the other chapters. …consider it an apology for the long wait.

SPOIL THE MOVIE FOR ME! All of it!!!! Jk but thank you so much for that Jason piece. I’m excited for the movie

inkydandy:

Okay so Batman Ninja, it starts exactly like the trailer: everyone gets sent back in time to feudal Japan where Joker rules. Then they encounter a talking monkey in the forest who gives them power to turn into magical boys and they use the power of love and friendship to bring balance back to Japan and the timeline.

I’M KIDDING. But the movie has even better stuff and I can’t wait for it to come out next week because I think everyone will really enjoy it!

Going to be in a ballet (not dancing)

So less than a week from now, will be part of the crowd for the local ballet’s production of Giselle -they wanted several dogs to accompany the noble hunting party for two scenes in Act One. Unfortunately my harrier can’t do it, so I’m taking the old whippet on-stage. You’d think the first time I’m onstage for a ballet would have a connection to my aunt who teaches it for children in San Fran, but nope. I’m excited. If only the dress wasn’t so long and petticoat so wide- if I’m not tripping on it, the dog is stepping on it.

I can relate to this on every level

I fucking loved this.

This was me during the fathier horse scene in TLJ…

“No way they can breathe enough to run with nostrils that small.”

“HORSES DON’T CRASH THROUGH SHIT, CHARGING ISN’T THEIR NATURE. BISON AND CATTLE AND CREATURES WITH HORNS BUST THINGS WITH THEIR HEAD. KNOW YOUR FUCKING UNGULATES!”

“Those ears are completely ridiculous. They should at least be flattened against the horse’s neck while running to minimize drag. Also, stretching the neck down or forward should pull them back!”

“They…ok they’re running straight up a cliff now. HORSES DON’T WORK THAT WAY.”

“They have a saddle, great. Where the hell is their bridle? Riding with only a bridle makes more sense than only a saddle. It’s very hard to control a horse without a good connection to their head! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY YEARS OF TRAINING IT TAKES JUST TO GET THEM TO NECK-REIN?!”

*pauses half a million times to analyze their run cycle because it does NOT look like a galloping motion*

“YOUR XENOBIOLOGY SUCKS, RIAN!”

SAME. If you’re going to create a creature, talk to biologists! The proportions are way off. And no horse runs out of the barn, ever. Even if it’s on fire.

Not to mention the part where Finn and Rose steer theirs into a narrow alley with lights strung all over the place. First of all, there is no way they’d have that much control over the horse. And it TOTALLY makes sense for a horse to veer out of an open area into a confined space with lots of bright, dangly things everywhere THAT GET CAUGHT ON IT AND IT’S RIDERS AND ARE PROBABLY VERY HOT, right? Jeezus…
