My opinion on the ubiquitous tumblr memes – if they don’t strike me as garishly ugly (the damn sad frog things 😡 or the ‘aesthetics’) or aren’t annoyingly offensive fandom specific (50 shades of greyjoy, a lot of the Feanorian ones, etc…), if they’re just dumb text based memes and I have an idea of where they come from, then it’s easy for me to scroll pass them and one or two posts might even be almost funny (the one with the three names where the last is look down to read smudged misspelling for instance- none have made me laugh, but they don’t irk me on my dash, so bemused tolerance).
Which is my horribly low bar for memes.
