we found love in a hopeless place ϟ

one of the things I love most about Star Wars is that it is, very strongly, a story about love – whether it’s romantic, filial, or platonic; as something that can be both horribly destructive and something that can save galaxies… and this song cover makes me want to explode into a million colours. (I’m sorry for the disproportionate Endor, I realised too late that this composition doesn’t make any sense ;_;)

These Star Wars drawings of mine have been around for a while… I’ve seen them re-posted SO MANY TIMES, uncredited, misinterpreted… but as owner I’ve never really made a post with all of them, so here it is.
And, once and for all: these were made for fun and for having a good laugh in imagining Anakin and Padmé dealing with little Luke and Leia.

I’d never want to change the canon, honestly.
But hey, having fun is good. For the record, most of these were made almost two years ago in about a hour or so during my breaks between a hell of a job I was doing back then.
So, nasty part of the Star Wars fandom, please stop being so damn serious about it! Thank you 🙂

With that being said, thank you very much to all of the people who enjoyed these on Deviantart, or reblogged the uncredited posts with putting a link to the original ones and stuff. Thank you!! 🙂

Hope you enjoy these oldies! 😀

I just love this quote. It’s so easily overlooked, seen as unimportant, until you see the prequels. Because then you realize how utterly true and heartbreaking that phrase is. “He died about the same time your father did.” Meaning that Obi-Wan, that is, everything that made him who he was, his faith, his joy, his light, was murdered, killed, at the same time that Anakin was lost to the Dark Side. When Anakin became Vader, Obi-Wan became Ben. Anakin and Obi-Wan died together on that planet. Only Vader and Ben left it alive. One full of hate and darkness, the other a broken shell that was merely existing, not even really living. These two men were so deeply entwined, so bonded together in the force, that when one died, so did the other. That is the real definition of true love.

Oh my god.
