The embroidery of Lubina, Slovakia is typical for its circle shape. The result is quite stunning!

Also, one more interesting fact: this type of embroidery has always been called called “embroidery of chicken´s asses” by local women. 

I love both this type of embroidery and the local name for it.

One of heget’s original elven heraldric devices for Amarië of the Vanyar, loved by Finrod Felagund. It’s such a simple but beautiful design.
Since this is put in a lozenge and not a circle, I take this as a family symbol for Amarie’s family as a whole. I’m pretty sure I’m going to do another one in a circle with a little more true to life flowers. I guess some sort of wildflowers but idk which ones yet.
The background took the longest. Some nice concentric circles.
