I flit between fandoms and generally don’t care about 3/4 of the characters.

Ooh, that’s actually hard for me to guess…

Let’s see, several mutuals go between longstanding favorites (jess, elizabeth for example) while those like manymany i’m always delighted when a new show appears with excitement on the dash. Now hmm, if those ¼th of liked characters are mostly female characters or quasi-villainous, I might have better luck narrowing it down…

I’m so sorry, friend!

the beauuuutiful snow lilies sigil you made me! (as obvious as that is lol)

Aaww but nah, you’re right, it is beautiful, and I’m very proud of that one. And that you liked the Sansa connection to it made me very happy. (as I’m finally getting around to finalizing and writing fic featuring the rest of the SilmarillionAU!Starks, I might go back and make more personal sigils for other family members)

(Lookie! It’s a purdy thing~)

Bëorians abound (and are called Bëorings), or at least proto-Vanyar, and if so there’s early Elvish linguistic development, and the people of Bór are being heroic, and nobody cares about Fëanorians.

Crap, now I’m wondering where I picked up the ‘Bëorings’ instead of Bëorians, and why I only do it for that Edain tribe…

Laughing a little because I shied away from anything proto-elvish/Cuiviénen Era primitive elvish because I was terrified of the heavy scholastic focus on linguistic developments, feeling that such superior knowledge on forms of Quenya was the only reason people wrote or read about early elves, and as I would never be able to even slightly fake Tolkien linguistic knowledge, it’d never happen. (I guess my faking it went better than I thought.)

LOL yes I don’t think I could write the people of Bór in an unheroic light – on the other side of the coin, yeah… even when I bother to have the Fëanorians, between the POV and narrator bias, the scent of unimpressed disapproval does waft from the pages, eh?

(the reason I haven’t written anything from Kreka’s parents’ generation yet is because they’re the group of Bór followers that could have the some of the positive blindly loyal belief that the Fëanorians =/= disaster. Between Boaz, Marti, and Roas, there would be variations in the levels of trust and enthusiasm for shit like the attack on Doriath, but I literally can’t focus myself to plot anything remotely connected to it.)

Man, I really need to write the War of Wrath Bortë fic where I have “Vanyar + Bór + fusion character from another fandom + disparaging attitudes from everyone towards the Fëanorians from distant family and humans alike.” I think the only thing missing are some descendants of Bëor and more Sindar. And gratuitous epithets in place of names.

I debated what short passage or fic to do (as I’ve already recorded all of hunter-bold and maiden-fair). In the end I decided it was easier to just do the shortest Silm fic I’ve posted, even if I swear I know I’m mispronouncing such simple names as Edain, Aegnor, and Angrod and inconsistently at that.
