You bet I do! Somewhere in my tags I have my post of all my boringly het mostly canon RuroKen ships, but they’re #2 on my ‘ships for this series.

• when I started shipping it if I did: When my good friend at the time (this would have been freshmen or maybe sophmore year of high school) had a sleepover where we watched her dvd of the first season of the anime. I was hooked on the series and looked up maigo-chan’s online transcripts for the manga and my birthday that year was marathoning the Kyoto Arc. So…the first episode, of course. “I asked for Kenshin the Wanderer, not the Battousai.”
• my thoughts: FUCKING FIREFLIES MAKE ME SOB okay any of my reblogged posts for their tag, but that they can be summed up as “homeless mass murderer/assassin becomes house-husband for his landlady so he doesn’t have to pay rent” and that’s beautiful
• What makes me happy about them: inverted gender roles, an atoner with little self-worth discovering that he can have happiness and a lonely girl creating a found family, that they have some hiccups on the abandonment and self-worth issues (and a death or two) but there isn’t this long drawn-out will-they-won’t-they and they are so good and healing and supportive for each other
• What makes me sad about them: The fandom shipping war between Kenshin/Tomoe and Kenshin/Kaoru and the pitting of the ladies against each other was gross. Also the flanderization and belittling of Kaoru – so uncool.
• things done in fanfic that annoys me: Sex-god Kenshin. Bashing of other characters. Making this huge difference/split personality between ‘Battousai’ and ‘Kenshin’ and that Kaoru is ill-suited because she doesn’t understand/is afraid of B. 
• things I look for in fanfic: It’s been decades since I was actively reading RuroKen fic – which is funny because it was the first fandom I searched online for fics of and I read through the section in fanfiction.net. Mostly at this point fun setting AUs and those have always been my weakness.
• Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I have no problem with past Kenshin/Tomoe, though in the Meiji Era idk. I’m definitely more accepting of Kaoru/Sano than Kaoru/Enishi
• My happily ever after for them: First of all, like any RuroKen fan, that second OVA is so not canon we do not speak of it. Kenji doesn’t turn horribly evil, though I’m okay with arrogant little shit spoiled momma’s boy. Still dealing with late Meiji and Taisho so not too tragic yet, but we know it’s not the rosiest future. Still, K/K grow old together, die peacefully in their sleep.
• who is the big spoon/little spoon: I never thought about it. probably kenshin the big spoon/ kaoru little – but I could very easily see it the other way around
• what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Kenshin does laundry while watching Kaoru train her students. Going out to eat at the Akabeko.
