Crying over split milk, but some days I regret I didn’t put watermarks on the sigils. I know that wouldn’t have stopped anything. I know the images are floating around uncredited and divorced from the fact that they aren’t remotely canon on places like pinterest and other areas of tumblr and I’m over two years too late. They’re among the first images that pop up in searches, and I constantly wonder if I should have taken down the images on my Dreamwidth.
I don’t have the time or inclination to police, and I actively wanted others like RP blogs and graphic makers to be free to use the images -with credit to me as the original artist- but knew that was a fool’s hope. And most people do acknowledge I made them (or at least that’s what I want to believe. I’m naive and optimistic.) Or they don’t realize they are non-canon fanart and who the source is. So thank you to everyone who does add or acknowledge me as the creator, or inform me when mistakes happen.
The split milk has already evaporated (or mildewed), I know.
